2. What personal data we process

3. Where we obtain data

Most data we receive directly from you. Where we have not obtained data from you (Art. 14 GDPR), it consists of business contact details (name, position, company, business email and phone) of representatives of investors, fund managers and partners, obtained from public sources such as LinkedIn, company websites and public registers, and processed for business development on the basis of our legitimate interest. We inform you of this processing at the latest at our first contact with you.

4. Purposes and legal bases

5. How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to cooperation are kept for up to 2 years from the last contact. Data relating to a business relationship is kept for its duration and up to 3 years afterwards. Accounting and tax records are kept for the periods required by law (typically 10 years).

6. Recipients

We share personal data only as necessary with IT, hosting, email and office software providers (including Wix.com Ltd. as our website host), accountants and legal advisers, appropriately licensed entities where regulated activities are needed to provide a service you requested, and public authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States or Israel. Such transfers are based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential storage, or choose by category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page; withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies and do not use third-party tools such as Google Analytics.

Essential (always on, no consent required). These are strictly necessary to provide the website you request (Electronic Communications Act No. 127/2005 Coll., § 89(3)):

Before you consent, the page only requests Wix's small loader script, which then stops without running any Wix analytics or storing anything in your browser.

Statistics (only with your consent). If you accept statistics, Wix's site analytics scripts are loaded. They set the bSession cookie (session measurement, about 30 minutes), a consent-policy cookie recording your choice for Wix (12 months), an anonymous access token in local storage and a session identifier (wixViewerSessionId) in session storage, and they send usage statistics about your visit (pages viewed, technical data about your browser and device, IP address) to Wix (frog.wix.com). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Wix processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you withdraw consent, we delete this storage in your browser where technically possible and Wix analytics stop from the next page load.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will continue to work.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise your rights, contact martin@denovio.cz or +420 777 697 277. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, uoou.gov.cz).

10. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
